How was Trinity "invented"

Playing around with the ALTTPR Customizer, user thkg00fy found out that it is possible to integrate Triforce Pieces and even Triforces into Defeat Ganon seeds.

Knowing this, he created several "Troll Randomizer" games, which sent players around Hyrule and the Dark World, hunting for pieces that didn't exist.

After a sleepless night and the first "Triforce Pieces Hunt" Daily Challenge seed, the idea came op to include multiple goals in one game.

The first versions were just created via the ALTTPR Customizer. Adding several pieces, setting number for the Pieces Goal and placing a Triforce on the Master Sword Pedestal: that's it!

Since this manual seed rolling was way too inconvenient, the hunt for an easier way started. Luckily, at the same time, developer Synack provided the community with a way to create custom presets for SahasrahBot.

Using this way, every preset could be changed instantly and new modes could be shared with other users without attaching Customizer preset files.

Why is there no Trinity on the ALTTPR site

Trinity is a Fan Project that is (currently) not linked to official development. However, it has been added to some other randomizers.

What will come next?

The current release of v1.0 is the FINAL version. Any further development depends on changes inside the default randomizer.

Therefore the "trinity/dev" preset has been removed.
