Mirror wrap is a Major Glitch that lets you access locations in the middle of overworld screens by hitting transitions from the wrong side. To perform a mirror wrap, start flush with the transition and press into the transition and mirror on the same frame. This will trigger a mosaic effect and put you on the other side of the transition. When you hit the transition from the other side, your screen will scroll until you are in the middle of the screen you originally started on.

• Ice Palace
• Stumpy without moon pearl
• Mire Shed without moon pearl
• East Death Mountain without moon pearl, hammer, or mitts

Transitions can also be hit from the wrong side without using mirror with similar effect:

• Ice Palace flippers wrap
• Magic Bat
• Turtle Rock laser bridge without mirror
