Getting there

EP is already the dungeon you can get to anytime you want to, but there's an overworld glitch that could get you there faster by wrapping the screen: Eastern Teleport

Getting around

If you have the Cane of Somaria, you can do a door juke that gives you a more efficient route through EP:

Door juke to the big key chest

This door juke lets you get from the EP lobby to the big key chest (the chest on the west side guarded by four anti-fairies) quickly, and only requires the Cane of Somaria.

Briefly, you perform a south door juke in the left door of the Eastern Palace to screen-wrap, then transition north, and this places you on the bridge toward the big key chest.

You start by snapping into the door as far as possible while holding a somaria block -- this is similar to the setup in sewer door deletion, but you are not trying to cause the more serious Somaria Door glitch where you push the block through the door, so don't inch upward after throwing the block.

  Snap into the door as far as possible with a somaria block. Throw the block and hold down to walk under it.

• 

  You wrap to this screen location. Walk back up from here.

• 

  You enter a screen-wrapped version of the next room. You're actually on the bridge.

• 

  Walk left and up to find the door.

• 

  Once you're in this section, you can press up and down to unwrap your position on the screen, or you can do that in the next room.

• 

  Passing through the door puts you in this room with a glitched position. Enemies don't interact with you. You can still touch the button and open the chest.

Your location will be glitched in such a way that you can't take damage from enemies, even if you try. Mirroring back to the entrance is an effective next step. If you want to death-warp to the entrance, you'll need to blow yourself up with bombs. You won't be able to see the bombs, but they'll still hit you.

Where you can go

• In the hidden skeletons room, you can bomb snap into the door and do a subtile YBA to wrong-warp to the front of Misery Mire.
• A supertile YBA will let you fall into the Stalfos basement of Palace of Darkness, but this is rarely going to be more useful than Kiki Skip.

Getting the crystal

Some ways to get the EP crystal, besides the intended way:

• Wrong-warp to Mire. You could get to the boss room of Mire if you have the resources, but more likely you'll use the Mire to Hera clip and correct the crystal from Hera. Requires a red or green bottle.
• Clip directly from the lobby to the boss room with a cane hookpush through the left wall. Requires lamp, a boomerang, master sword or better, Cane of Somaria, and hookshot.
