Very good work, Link, it is almost done. Tomorrow is the ball, so keep it up.

I know the last few days have been very demanding, but it's almost done. One last dungeon, Hyrule Castle, is on your list, then we can celebrate. Good luck.

Oh, Link, I can't thank you enough.

Thanks to you, the ball tomorrow will be incredible.

I am so relieved.

I hope you are not too tired after all these days to fill a place on my dance card.

See you tomorrow.

Link, come closer.

I want you to stay alert. The preparations for tomorrow are almost complete, but I did not expect everything to go so smoothly.

It is my job to be prepared for anything unexpected and you should be, too.

Link watched Zelda walk through the hall for the hundredth time.

At the end of the ballroom she turned around.

Zelda's eyes began to shine with joy.

The hall was fantastic.

It only lacked the guests filling in the space.

And just on that cue, the two heard a tumult erupt from in front of the hall doors.

"What do you mean you won't let us in?!"

Thundered one Goron in a firm, contrabass voice.

"I repeat, there is a ban on weapons on the ball."

Impa's reply told she was unimpressed.

"That ban probably doesn't apply to old hags, though."

Link thought to himself.

Lacking the fortitude to resist, the crowd lined up to deposit their gear in the checkroom.

"Don't nobody put their fins on my hammer!"

One goron was heard growling towards the Zoras.

"Our hands are far too valuable to be tainted with such crude toys."

Was their sarcastic response.

But when the group entered the ballroom, the sight of the hall immediately muted all arguments.

They were all equally astonished.
