You can clip through the slopes in the ice palace lobby to reach the bombable floor room and skip the freezor kill and fire requirement for entry. Start at x-coordinate D5F or D60. Dashturn to bonk off the south wall, then dashturn to face right at your landing position. Throw a bomb to the right, then walk to the south wall and dash into the bomb. Hold upleft while the bomb is knocking you downward to instaclip through the slope. Let go of upleft after the transition to avoid softlocking on the other side and walk down to get inbounds.
Routing
Ice Palace bomb jump route: Bomb the floor and continue through IP. This route skips pengator chest which can be picked up after the dungeon clear at the risk of leaving the big key behind locking an item.
Icebreaker route: Hit the switch and exit. Pegs will be in the correct position for icebreaker. There are multiple ways to hit the switch from here, but placing a bomb on the wall above the switch is the easiest. Backtrack to pengator room from pre-icebreaker room to collect the item if full clearing. You can save a few frames walking below the pressure plate.
If entering without glove/hammer, you can steal a key from Ice 2 then bomb clip to guarantee a way out of spike chest room after using icebreaker.
