Fake Powder is a glitch where the player can use the Cane of Somaria and the Mushroom to trick the game into letting you use the Magic Powder without actually having the item. This can also be done while actually having the Magic Powder if the player is out of magic.
Execution
To perform this glitch:
- Completely empty the magic meter.
- Use the Cane of Somaria and immediately menu after you hear the no magic error sound.
- Swap to the Mushroom (or the Powder) and then after closing the menu you should automatically use Magic Powder.
Uses
This can be useful to sequence break the Magic Bat item and to get a health refill from an Anti-Fairy.
